Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a relaxing treatment, which is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system which aims to restore balance to the mind and body.
The treatments involve massage, shiatsu and acupressure techniques on upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. This relaxes tense areas but, at the same time, helps to rebalance the energy, clearing any areas of negativity.
Indian Head massage may bring about general feeling of well-being, calmness and relaxation. It can help to relieve tight muscles and stimulate the circulatory and lymphatic systems. It is a particularly good massage to help ease tension headaches, eyestrain, insomnia, scalp tension and ease anxiety.
The lovely thing about this treatment is that it can be done anywhere - only requiring a chair. Making it an ideal treatment for the home, clinic or the office. Clients have the option of remaining dressed if they would rather.
The massage can be performed for 30 or 45 minutes if extra time is required on the back, shoulders and neck.
Thai Foot Massage
Thailand has long believed in the benefits of massage and the Buddhist monks have been practicing massage for many years. During a Thai Foot Massage the lower legs and feet are worked on. It involves hands-on stretching, massage, stimulating reflex points and follows the Thai energy lines (Sen). It has elements of Shiatsu, Reflexology, Chinese massage and Yoga incorporated into the massage.
Thai Foot Massage stimulates the internal organs, giving the receiver a holistic treatment. It can create a healing environment for the body and produce a sense of well being.
Thai Foot Massage can help improve the immune system, boost circulation, aid sleep, improve joint mobility and reduce stress to give a sense of relaxation and well being.
The treatment is performed lying down and focuses on the lower legs and feet using massage, stretching, and stimulation of reflex points, working along the Thai energy lines (Sen.)
This treatment can last for either 30 or be combined with other from of massage for a longer treatment.
Natural Facelift
Also known as facial rejuvenation the natural facelift is part of the ancient teachings from India and Japan.
It is designed to be a gentle non-invasive approach to looking younger. It works primarily by freeing constrictions both within the facial muscles and in the connective tissue.
It can help to improve the complexion and reduce wrinkles using a nourishing oil to re-hydrate the skin. Tension can build up within our facial muscles from the pressures of everyday life without us realising it. Natural facelift massage is my personal favourite due to the deep state of relaxation achieved.
It is a massage of the shoulders, neck and face to help release deep-seated tensions. Freeing layers of muscle and connective tissue so that there is space for the muscles to relax. This will encourage the circulation and allow the tissues to become smoother and more youthful in appearance.
This is an excellent massage to reduce wrinkles but on a much deeper level can help to relax the whole body. The skin complexion will improve and the eyes can brighten to help relieve eyestrain, headaches and insomnia. The massage can give you a sense of calmness, well being to help balance the mind and body.
